Kevin Lopes started his career as commis in a 5 star hotel in Megève, France at the age of 19. A year later he took on the Pastry Chef de Partie role in a two Michelin Star Restaurant in Luxembourg where he worked closely with Ilario Mosconi. Kevin has held various positions in several restaurants in Paris, Monaco and Metz before joining the Hôtel Le Kilimandjaro in Courchevel in 2012 as Pastry Sous Chef where he worked with Nicolas Sale and Glenn Viel. During that time, the restaurant received its second Michelin star. Having worked in France for many years, Kevin decided to take on a new challenge abroad and joined One&Only The Palm, Dubai as Pastry Sous Chef in September 2013. He was promoted to the position of Executive Pastry Chef in September 2014 and since then overlooks all pastry creations for the entire resort including ZEST, 101 Dining Lounge and Bar and STAY by Yannick Alléno where he is also in charge of the famous Pastry Library.

Kevin Lopes commence sa carrière comme commis dans un hôtel cinq étoiles à Megève, à l'âge de 19. Un an plus tard, il devient Chef de Partie pâtissier dans un deux étoiles au guide Michelin au Luxembourg, où il travaille en étroite collaboration avec Ilario Mosconi. Kevin occupe ensuite divers postes dans plusieurs restaurants à Paris, Monaco et Metz avant de rejoindre l'Hôtel Le Kilimandjaro à Courchevel en 2012 comme Sous Chef Pâtissier où il travaille avec Nicolas Sale et Glenn Viel. Pendant cette période, le restaurant reçoit sa deuxième étoile au Michelin. Ayant travaillé en France pendant de nombreuses années, Kevin décide de relever un nouveau défi à l'étranger et il rejoint le One & Only The Palm, Dubaï comme Sous Chef pâtissier en Septembre 2013. Il est promu au poste de Chef Pâtissier Exécutif un an plus tard et depuis supervise toutes les créations de pâtisseries pour tout l’hôtel, qu’il s’agisse du ZEST, du 101 Dining Lounge and Bar ou du STAY by Yannick Alléno, où il est également en charge de la célèbre Bibliothèque pâtisserie.
