ETIHAD AIRWAYS INTRODUCES AIRBUS A380 FROM ABU DHABI TO PARIS CHARLES DE GAULLE 

Etihad Airways inaugure sa liaison par Airbus A380 sur l'un de ses deux services quotidiens entre Abu Dhabi, la capitale des Émirats arabes unis (EAU) et Paris Charles de Gaulle

Etihad Airways today introduced an Airbus A380 aircraft on one of its two daily services between Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Paris Charles de Gaulle. 

Le nouveau service est destiné à répondre à la demande saisonnière du 1er juillet au 28 octobre et du 15 décembre au 15 février 2018. L'A380 exploitera alors un service régulier toute l'année à partir du 25 mars 2018. Le superjumbo remplace un Boeing 777-300ER à trois classes - qui exploitait auparavant le service quotidien de nuit de la compagnie aérienne vers la capitale française.

Mohammad Al Bulooki, vice-président exécutif commercial d'Etihad Airways, a déclaré: «Paris,  capitale mondiale du style et de la gastronomie est l'une des destinations phares d'Etihad Airways, populaire auprès des voyageurs de loisirs et d'affaires.

The new service has been introduced early to meet seasonal demand from 1 July to 28 October and 15 December to 15 February 2018. The A380 will then operate a regular year-round service from 25 March 2018. The superjumbo replaces a three-class Boeing 777-300ER previously operating the airline’s daily overnight service to the French capital.

L'avion, qui était piloté par le capitaine français Patrick Vives et un premier officier émirien, a été accueilli par un salut habituel au canon à eau à son arrivée à Paris.

The aircraft, which was piloted by a French Captain and an Emirati First Officer, was greeted with a customary water canon salute on arrival into Paris.
