Toscana Endurance Lifestyle 2017

La Toscana Endurance Lifestyle s’est déroulée les 15 et 16 juillet 2017 dans le magnifique domaine et hippodrome de San Rossore. Le premier jour, sur les trois événements programmés, deux ont vu les cavaliers des Émirats Arabes Unis s’imposer. Le vainqueur de la manche CEIYJ2* de 120km, le jeune et talentueux Hamdan Ahmad Mohd Al Marri des EAU, a réussi à défendre le titre qu’il avait déjà gagné l'année dernière. Il avait d’ailleurs montré qu’il était en grande forme plus tôt cette année en remportant la prestigieuse Coupe Gamilati à Dubaï.

The Toscana Endurance Lifestyle took place last July 15 and 16, 2017 and was held at the magnificent San Rossore Estate and racetrack. On the first day, three events were scheduled with UAE riders grabbing top spot in two.  The winner of the CEIYJ2* 120 km ride was the UAE’s up and coming rider Hamdan Ahmad Mohd Al Marri, who successfully defended his title, having won here last year as well. The teenager announced his form earlier this year, when he won the prestigious Gamilati Cup in Dubai.

Alia Ahmad Mohd Al Saboori sur Za'amah remporta l'épreuve féminine du CEI2* de 120 km  dès le premier jour, suivie de près par sa compatriote Ayesha Darwish Ahmed Al Romaithi qui se plaçait à la troisième place sur Quetzal Arvorig.

Alia Ahmad Mohd Al Saboori aboard Za’amah aced the CEI2* Ladies 120 km held on Day 1 as well, with compatriot Ayesha Darwish Ahmed Al Romaithi coming in third in the same ride, aboard Quetzal Arvorig.

Le deuxième jour comportait deux courses. Le CEI2* de 120 km a vu Mansour Saeed Mohd Al Faresi, cavalier des EAU sur Magic Glenn Tayla, remportaer le trophée du prestigieux événement, ce sont d’ailleurs les six premiers cavaliers au classement qui étaient issus des Émirats Arabes Unis reflétant ainsi l’intérêt croissant des jeunes cavaliers pour ce sport dans le pays.

Day 2 featured two key rides. The CEI2* 120 km which saw UAE’s Mansour Saeed Mohd Al Faresi on board Magic Glenn Tayla taking home the trophy in the prestigious event, in fact the top six finishers in the ride were from the UAE reflecting the growing standard of the sport in the country.

Le CEI 3* de 160 km quant à lui, a été remporté par le cavalier algérien Mohammad Aida sur Tahar Du Barthas. La paire a démarré lentement, en terminant la première des six boucles en dixième position, mais petit à petit ils ont refait leur retard pour terminer en tête. 

The CEI 3* 160 km event went to Algerian rider Mohammad Aida aboard Tahar Du Barthas the pair began slowly, finishing the first of six loops in tenth place, but as the ride progressed, they made their way towards the top of the group finally winning the title.
