Louvre Abu Dhabi inaugural week celebrated with spectacular lightshow and fireworks

Aujourd'hui, jeudi 9 novembre, un spectacle audio-visuel de lumières a été réalisé par les magiciens français de la pyrotechnie du groupe F. Baptisé Vives Réflexions / Museum Reflections, le spectacle dramatique et innovant a utilisé le bâtiment conçu par Jean Nouvel comme toile de fond et support. Un voyage de découverte en quatre parties: des profondeurs de l'eau à la surface de la mer, sur terre, et enfin dans les cieux. Dans chaque acte, différents chefs-d'œuvre de la collection du Louvre Abu Dhabi ont été révélés, projetés sur le bâtiment sous un feu d'artifice exceptionnel qui a illuminé le ciel nocturne.

The celebrations ahead of louvre Abu Dhabi’s official public opening on 11 November continue, as this historic moment is marked by special events and performances.

Today saw a stunning audio-visual light show at Louvre Abu Dhabi by French pyrotechnic wizards Groupe F. Titled Vives Reflexions / Museum Reflections, the dramatic and innovative show used the Jean Nouvel-designed building as both its backdrop and canvas, taking its audience on a voyage of discovery in four parts: from the depths of the water to the surface of the sea, onto the ground, and finally up into the skies. In each act, different masterpieces from Louvre Abu Dhabi’s collection were revealed, projected across the building under an incredible firework display that lit up the night sky.
