Les sites culturels d'Abu Dhabi prêts à rouvrir

 Abu Dhabi's Cultural sites ready to reopen

Le ministère de la Culture et du Tourisme - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) a annoncé aujourd'hui qu'un certain nombre de musées et de sites culturels de l'émirat sont prêts à accueillir les visiteurs à partir du 24 juin.

Des directives strictes en matière de santé et de sécurité et des mesures de précaution ont été mises en œuvre dans les sites sélectionnés.

Les premiers à rouvrir au public sont le Louvre Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Hosn et l'exposition de la Fondation culturelle mais également les espaces extérieurs de l’Oasis d'Al Ain, Qasr Al Muwaiji, le fort Al Jahili et le musée du palais Al Ain.

The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) announced today that selected number of museums and cultural sites in the emirate are ready to welcoming visitors starting June 24^th. 

Strict health and safety guidelines and precautionary measures were implemented in the selected sites to support community recovery after the long lockdown in the last months.

The first sites that will be reopened to the public include Louvre Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Hosn, and the Cultural Foundation. Also reopening will be Al Ain Oasis outdoor areas, Qasr Al Muwaiji, Al Jahili Fort and Al Ain Palace Museum.

«L’annonce de la réouverture de nos sites culturels est une étape importante pour accélérer le retour à une vie «normale» dans l’émirat», a déclaré SE Saood Al Hosani, sous-secrétaire par intérim du DCT Abu Dhabi. 

“Announcing the reopening of our cultural sites is a significant step in helping residents and visitors to Abu Dhabi to accelerate a return to ‘normal’ life in the emirate,” said HE Saood Al Hosani, Acting Undersecretary of DCT Abu Dhabi.

Une pré-réservation en ligne sera nécessaire pour Qasr Al Hosn et Louvre Abu Dhabi. La plupart des sites culturels fonctionneront selon de nouveaux horaires d'ouverture de 10h à 19h (de 14h à 19h le vendredi). Le Louvre Abu Dhabi sera ouvert de 10h à 18h30, sauf le lundi (musée fermé).

Au Louvre Abu Dhabi, les visiteurs pourront découvrir la dernière exposition internationale, Furusiyya: l'art de la chevalerie entre l'Est et l'Ouest, du 1er juillet au 18 octobre 2020.

Pre-booking tickets online will be required for Qasr Al Hosn and Louvre Abu Dhabi. Most cultural sites are operating under new opening times of 10am to 7pm (2pm to 7pm on Fridays) with Louvre Abu Dhabi opening from 10am to 6.30pm, except on Mondays when the museum is closed. 

At Louvre Abu Dhabi, visitors will be able to discover the latest international exhibition, Furusiyya: The Art of Chivalry between East and West, from 1 July to 18^thOctober 2020.

La Fondation culturelle accueille actuellement trois expositions : The Red Palace, Common Ground and Step into a Story.

Le Louvre Abu Dhabi et Qasr Al Hosn introduiront également le lancement de l'entrée gratuite pour les visiteurs de moins de 18 ans dans le cadre d'une initiative visant à impliquer les jeunes publics et les familles. Les billets pour les deux sites ne peuvent être réservés qu'en ligne.

En parallèle, tous les sites qui resteront fermés fonctionneront toujours virtuellement grâce à un programme diffusé en ligne via les plateformes the Cultural Sites, Abu Dhabi Culture et Cultur-All virtual.

Les représentations du théâtre de la Fondation culturelle et la bibliothèque pour enfants d'Abu Dhabi continueront d'être diffusées en ligne. De plus, Bait Al Oud, Berklee Abu Dhabi, Marsam Al Hor, Bait Al Khatt et Qattara Arts Center offriront des sessions en ligne  d'arts visuels et d'interprétation.

The Cultural Foundation currently is hosting three exhibitions: The Red Palace, Common Ground and Step into a Story, all can be visited now. 

Alongside the re-opening, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Hosn will also introduce the launch of free admission for visitors under the age of 18 as part of an initiatives to engage younger audiences and families. Tickets for both sites can only be booked online.

In parallel, all the sites that will remain closed will be still operating virtually through an inspiring programme broadcasted online through the Cultural Sites, Abu Dhabi Culture and Cultur-All virtual platforms.

Cultural Foundation Theatre performances and Abu Dhabi Children’s Library will continue to be broadcast online. In addition to Bait Al Oud, Berklee Abu Dhabi, Marsam Al Hor, Bait Al Khatt and Qattara Arts Centre all will be offering visual and performing arts sessions online.
