Du 4 au 7 décembre 2025, la Formule 1 posera ses valises à Abu Dhabi pour le traditionnel bouquet final de la saison. Pour la 17ᵉ fois de son histoire, le circuit Yas Marina accueillera l’ultime manche du calendrier, confirmant son statut de scène privilégiée des dénouements dramatiques et des sacres inattendus. Dans l’air tiède des nuits émiriennes, l’asphalte bleu nuit et les éclairages du circuit offriront le décor parfait à un affrontement qui pourrait bien inscrire un nouveau nom au palmarès des champions du monde.

Inauguré en 2009, Yas Marina s’est imposé comme l’un des circuits emblématiques de la Formule 1 moderne. Son architecture futuriste, signée par Hermann Tilke, épouse la géographie de Yas Island et déroule un ruban de 5,28 kilomètres où précision et agressivité doivent cohabiter.

From December 4 to 7, 2025, Formula 1 will once again descend on Abu Dhabi for the season’s grand finale. For the 17th time, Yas Marina Circuit will host the last act of the calendar, confirming its role as a stage for dramatic showdowns and historic first titles. Beneath the warm Emirati night sky, with its deep-blue asphalt and iconic lighting, the circuit will set the perfect scene for a battle that may crown a brand-new world champion.

Since its inauguration in 2009, Yas Marina has established itself as one of the modern icons of Formula 1. Designed by Hermann Tilke, the futuristic track stretches across Yas Island in a 5.28-kilometer ribbon that demands both precision and aggression.

Le circuit se distingue par son rythme hybride : des sections sinueuses où la moindre erreur se paie cash, suivies de longues lignes droites propices aux dépassements. Les pilotes passent près de 70 % du tour à pleine charge, dont une accélération ininterrompue de 14 secondes le long de l’une des plus longues lignes droites du championnat. Autant dire que la mécanique comme les nerfs sont mis à rude épreuve.

Le record de la piste, établi en 2024 par Kevin Magnussen (Haas) en 1:25.637, reste dans toutes les mémoires. Il rappelle que même les équipes outsiders peuvent inscrire leur nom dans la légende du tracé, et que la hiérarchie n’y est jamais figée.

Si Abu Dhabi est devenu le lieu de clôture du championnat, ce n’est pas un hasard. Le circuit a déjà été le témoin de sacres historiques : Sebastian Vettel en 2010, plus jeune champion du monde de l’histoire, Nico Rosberg en 2016, auteur d’un triomphe face à Hamilton qui scella sa retraite, et bien sûr l’explosif duel Hamilton–Verstappen en 2021, dont l’écho résonne encore.

The circuit’s rhythm is distinctive: tight, technical sections that punish mistakes, followed by long straights that open the door to bold overtakes. Drivers spend around 70% of the lap at full throttle, including a 14-second flat-out blast down one of F1’s longest straights. Both machinery and nerves are tested to their limits. The lap record, set in 2024 by Kevin Magnussen (Haas) at 1:25.637, remains a reminder that even underdogs can etch their names into Yas Marina’s history, and that the established order can be shaken on this track. It is no coincidence that Abu Dhabi is entrusted with closing the F1 season. The circuit has witnessed historic coronations: Sebastian Vettel in 2010, the youngest world champion ever; Nico Rosberg in 2016, sealing his title before announcing a shock retirement; and of course, the explosive Hamilton–Verstappen showdown in 2021, still debated to this day.

Des générateurs d’eau atmosphérique et des systèmes de réduction de la consommation hydrique complètent cette démarche, faisant du Grand Prix d’Abu Dhabi l’un des plus avancés en matière de durabilité.
