La « Course pour la Nation », organisée conjointement par le Comité d'organisation supérieur de la Zayed Charity Run (Course Caritative Zayed) et le Conseil des sports d'Abu Dhabi, a rassemblé plus de 25 000 participants issus de toute la diversité des EAU, offrant un spectacle national émouvant qui reflète les valeurs profondément ancrées du pays : unité, inclusion et solidarité sociale.

The Run for the Nation, organised in collaboration between the Zayed Charity Run Higher Organizing Committee and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, brought together more than 25,000 participants from across the UAE’s diverse community in a powerful national scene reflecting the country’s deeply rooted values of unity, inclusivity, and social solidarity.

La course a été officiellement lancée par une démonstration aérienne de la patrouille Fursan Al Emarat, qui a dessiné dans le ciel le drapeau des EAU. De Wahat Al Karama, monument emblématique d'Abu Dhabi, à l'hôtel Erth Abu Dhabi (Club et Hôtel des Officiers des Forces Armées), le parcours était empreint d’une forte symbolique nationale en véhiculant l'idée que la protection de la nation

est une responsabilité partagée, qui s'exprime par la conscience civique,

la solidarité et le sentiment d'appartenance nationale.

The run was officially opened with a distinguished aerial display by the Fursan Al Emarat, who painted the UAE flag across the nation’s skies. From Wahat Al Karama, an iconic national landmark in Abu Dhabi, to Erth Abu Dhabi Hotel (Armed Forces Officers Club & Hotel), along a route that carried strong national significance and conveyed a clear message that protecting the nation is a shared responsibility expressed through awareness, solidarity, and national belonging.

L'événement a connu une forte participation, notamment de séniors, de personnes en situation de handicap, de jeunes, de familles et de coureurs professionnels.

À cet égard, le lieutenant-général (à la retraite) Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi a affirmé que « La forte présence communautaire et la participation active de toutes les tranches d'âge  aujourd'hui témoignent de l'importance que revêtent les initiatives nationales dans la conscience collective de la société des EAU. Cela confirme que promouvoir une culture de l'engagement communautaire et renforcer la conscience nationale est une responsabilité partagée, où les efforts institutionnels convergent avec ceux des individus. La Course pour la Nation concrétise ces valeurs en renforçant la cohésion et la solidarité sociales tout en promouvant des modes de vie sains et actifs pour bâtir une société plus consciente et plus unie, capable de soutenir un développement national durable ».

The event witnessed wide participation from senior citizens, People of Determination, youth, families, and professional runners.

In this context, Lt. Gen. (Rtd.) Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi affirmed that “What we are witnessing today in terms of strong community presence and active participation from all age groups reflects the importance that national initiatives hold within the collective consciousness of UAE society. It confirms that fostering a culture of community readiness and strengthening national awareness is a shared responsibility in which institutional efforts align with those of individuals. The ‘Run for the Nation’ brings these values to life in a practical way, reinforcing social cohesion and solidarity while promoting healthy and active lifestyles that contribute to building a more aware and cohesive society capable of supporting sustainable national development .”

Après la course, les participants et leurs familles se sont retrouvés au village communautaire d'Erth Abu Dhabi, un espace interactif et dynamique offrant une ambiance festive et familiale. Le village proposait diverses activités, animations et initiatives communautaires favorisant l'engagement et le renforcement des liens sociaux.

Le succès de cet événement repose sur le soutien de ses sponsors, dont les contributions ont joué un rôle essentiel dans la mise en œuvre de cette initiative auprès de la communauté. Following the run, participants and their families gathered at the accompanying community village at Erth Abu Dhabi, which served as a vibrant interactive space in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. The village featured a variety of activities, entertainment programmes, and community initiatives that encouraged engagement and strengthened social connection.
